Kids Camp gives rising sixth-grade students in Madison a fun, safe, and hands-on opportunity to learn about law enforcement, first responders, teamwork, and leadership — all while building confidence and making new friends.

Led by Madison Police School Resource Officers and community first responders, this one-week camp blends education, interactive demonstrations, and high-energy activities designed to help kids better understand the people who protect and serve their community.Kids' Camp offers Madison students an action-packed week where they'll train with real police officers, meet first responders, and develop leadership skills through hands-on activities and team challenges.

Daily Schedule

8:00 AM – 2:45 PM

Kids Camp is led by Madison Police School Resource Officers, sworn police officers, and trained volunteers who supervise and guide students throughout the week to ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment.

Safety & Supervision

What to Send With Your Child

Please send your child with:
  • Sack lunch
  • Water bottle
  • Hat and sunscreen
  • Towel and swimsuit (for water activities)

Your child may get wet and dirty each day, so be prepared when picking them up.
Please wash the shirt that will be provided by Kids’ Camp each night.
Children will be required to wear the shirt each day. Due to hot weather, it is suggested that children wear shorts.

Registration donation: $125 per camper

This donation helps cover program materials, activities, and camp t-shirts.

Scholarships may be available through the Madison Police Foundation. The Madison Police Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and registration donations may be tax-deductible.
